Good credit? Bad credit? No credit? Let’s talk about it — no judgment, no lecture.
Financing for the products Doug sells at Sudbury Boat & Canoe — Arctic Cat sleds, ATVs and side by sides, Suzuki ATVs and motorcycles, MirroCraft, Scarab, Tracker, Henley and Four Winns boats, Bentley and Montego Bay pontoons, and Yamaha, Mercury and Suzuki outboards — for every kind of credit.
Doug Spurr, Sales & Finance at Sudbury Boat & Canoe. Neither Doug nor the store lends money — secure lenders they work with do. All financing is on approved credit (OAC).
Here’s Doug himself, in his own words — press play. This is exactly what he’ll tell you on the phone.
I don’t lend money. Neither does Sudbury Boat & Canoe. We work with secure lenders who do.
Every application comes to Doug first, and he reads it himself. Most files he works start to finish. If yours needs more lender doors than he has, he hands it to the alternative lending specialist, who works with more lender options — and Doug tells you straight up if he does. Your consent on the application covers both: checking your credit, and sharing your file with the lenders and that specialist.
This is the full list. These are the only new products Doug sells at Sudbury Boat & Canoe, and they are the only new products this page finances. If a brand is not listed here, Doug does not sell it new.

No rate tables, no guessing games. Pick the credit spot that sounds like you — Doug’s calculator does the rest. You never have to tell the page your exact score.
A down payment can help — especially on tougher files — but it isn’t always required.
Each spot uses a sample rate. Rates vary based on credit worthiness. Your actual rate is set by the lender, on approved credit.
Please note: payments are an estimate only and may change, subject to bank approval.
Estimate only — not a quote and not an approval. Payments are figured before tax, freight, setup, licensing and any lender or admin fees, which change the real number. Rates vary based on credit worthiness and are set by the lender; a down payment may be required. Everything is on approved credit (OAC). Doug will give you the exact numbers on your actual file before you sign anything.
Fill out the short application below. It comes straight to Doug — a real person reads it, not a machine.
Doug goes over your file, your options and your real payment numbers. If your file fits a specialist with more lender doors, he tells you straight and hands it over with your consent.
With your financing sorted, you pick from the products Doug sells — the list above — and get out there.
Good to know: lenders usually want to see steady, verifiable income — the store’s standard programs look for about $3,000 a month or more. Don’t count yourself out if you’re close or your situation is different. Talk to Doug first — that’s what the alternative lending specialist is there for.
This short starter form goes to Doug at the store. He reads it himself and calls you back. When you press the send button, your own email app opens with your answers filled in — press send in your email app too, and your request lands in Doug’s store inbox.
Do not put your SIN, your birth date, or your bank numbers on this form. This page is not where those belong.
When Doug calls you, he’ll walk you into the secure lender application for that part — that’s the safe place for it, and that’s where your credit check happens, with your consent.
This starter form is just so Doug knows who you are, what you want, and how to reach you.

No. Neither Doug nor Sudbury Boat & Canoe lends money. They work with secure lenders who do — Doug’s job is getting your file in front of the right one.
Yes. All credit types are welcome here, including rebuilding and no credit yet. Worst case, Doug tells you straight what it would take — no judgment, no lecture.
Doug first — he reads every one himself. With your consent, your file can also go to the secure lenders, and to the alternative lending specialist if your file needs more lender options. Doug tells you if he hands it over.
